I am exhilarated and overwhelmed to affirm that Shri siddheshwar Samstha’s Sanganabasava Shishuniketan CBSE School is completing 13 years of service in the field of education.
We had started our school with the strength of 88 in the year 2010 and now we have achieved the strength of 2292 from Pre KG to grade 10th with 106 teaching and 86 non-teaching staff . It’s indeed a great Achievement . The strength is increasing year by year which is a healthy sign of improvement . I am proud to inform that Sanganabasava Shishuniketan School is a single School in north Karnataka with 54 sections .
We have creative , innovative developmental plans , special programs , unique class room learning . All these have added a brand name to our institution which has made parent recognise , a place to send their children .
We began our academic year with Saraswati pooja on 02-06-2022.
I am proud to say that our teaching faculty includes , well trained post graduates , who strive to groom students beyond excellence. Hence , continuous evaluation methods for each and every child is under taken , through weekly , monthly , periodic and annual examinations. Teachers guide students to excel not only through examination but also through activity which facilitates teaching and learning more effective. With consequent assessment interaction with parents we achieved a quality education.
To achieve higher standard of education and enable the students to face competitive examination , this year we have started IIT Foundation Classes for Grade 6 . Eventually it will be continued for grade 6 and 7 in the upcoming years.
We even conduct remedial classes for slow Learners to help them gain confidence and knowledge through personal care.
Our school is nurturing to the over all development of students academically, physically , mentally through many activities throughout the year.
Apart from academics we also engage dance, music , Karate , art and craft classes. Along with imparting good education , we cater them to street smartness also. Hence we have taken them to post office , bank , hospital , police station etc .
School has well-furnished two computer labs with 64 latest version computers.
We have 35 school busses running throughout the city , with modern requirements as per RTO instructions.
To inculcate scholastic and co scholastic activities we have , encouraged our students to participate in fire-less cooking . We have conducted food fest on children’s day. With great enthusiasm students cooked delicious food which was appreciated by the Judges and Parents .
Like every year Science exhibition was organised on 15th August 2022 , where our grade 6th to 10th young scientists exhibited more than 200 working models.
We conducted various inter House competitions like speech , Essay , Calligraphy , Fancy dress , drawing , Extempore , reciting multiplication table and memory games .
By conducting Mathematics quiz we celebrated International maths day on 22-12-2022.
To promote stage courage , we conduct seminars on various topics .
Our kindergarten section tiny tots celebrated various colours day.
We also conducted international English , Maths and Science Olympiad exams to give them exposure to competitive world . Many students have qualified for 2nd level Olympiad exams Which will be held in the month of February .
We inculcate patriotism by celebrating all national festivals. This year we celebrated Har Ghar Tiranga , 75th Azadika Amrit Mahostva for three days.
Students achievement
Our School students participated in District and State level competitions excellence and brought laurels to the school . Prarthana Raikar grade 4th , participated in drama junior Season 4 . This year she played a role of Mahavali in Sadguru Movie . Which is releasing on January 5th .
Arya Mathpati of grade 6 has participated in Master Dance and Dance Dance Junior in Kannada TV Show Such as Star Suvarna and Colors super , Ahalyadevi Haranal of grade 7th and Ayushgouda Haranal of grade 3rd have participated in football mini junior Olympic game , which was conducted by Karnataka State Olympic.
Sports help us in overall development of an individual. We encourage sports in house and also to participate in inter school competitions.
Nidhi Jain of Grade IX participated in Belagavi division Dasera C M Cup Sports meet and bagged third prize in Taekwondo.
I am proud to say that our teachers have undergone CBSE teachers training program on 1st and 2nd November 2022 where the resource persons were from CBSE.
We keep updating ourselves with the NEP i.e National Education Policy of India , which has enacted changes in India’s education policy . We attended various seminars and workshops where we had a good learning experience and this has become a part of our professional development .
We also teach them moral values which are the basic elements of life , we celebrated Teachers day , National Yoga day , Nagarpanchami , Guru Poornima , Sanganabasava Swamiji’s Birthday , Raksha bandhan , Ganesh Chaturthi , Dasara , Children’s day , Gandhi Jayanti , Lal bahadur Shastri Jayanti , and Karnataka Rajyostava with grate pomp and show.
Our Kindergarten students were dressed in Radha and Krishna Costume on Krishna janmashtami.
Art and craft are also given equal importance . An exhibition was organised on the occasion of Ganesh Chaturti . As we all know that nature itself is an excellent mentor , hence we conduct outing in and around Vijayapura every month for all grades .
Grade 4 to 10 students were taken to one day picnic at Hubli PRS Water Park where students enjoyed and were excited .
We had very grand , colourful sports day celebration on 22-10-22 where each child participated in various sports event .
We are also imparting education to rural students of Tikota and 40 students are coming all the way from Tikota.
This year we have our first outgoing X batch of 83 students and we are expecting best results as the coaching has been effective with well experienced teachers .
Our New building is coming up with 22 rooms which will accomplish well equipped Dance room , wellness room , with wide Indore game facilities . A theatre for students to understand E learning and interaction is also coming up. We are also thinking of adequate equipped language laboratory , counselling room and Hydraulic elevator will be installed School has very good science laboratory to conduct the experiments in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. we have plans to inculcate Mathematical analysis Vedic era through Mathematics laboratory.
